Marketing agency · our own

Bitegrico

Bitegrico is a small senior team. Before selling AI agents to clients, we put our own agency on them: sales, content, new business on Upwork and project management.

2026 · our own operations, live since July 2026

At a glance

We run our own agency on the agents we sell: inbound sales, content, Upwork bidding and project management each have an agent stack in n8n and Claude, wired to ClickUp, Slack and Gmail. Agents do the routine work faster and at a volume a small team could not cover by hand; people spend their hours on decisions.

Challenges

Where it stood

The question we wanted to answer for ourselves first: can agents take the routine out of a small agency without anything reaching a client that a person has not approved?

Leads waited for a free hour

Website enquiries landed in an inbox. Qualifying them and writing a first reply waited until someone had time.

Content took senior time

A weekly article plus LinkedIn, Facebook and X posts meant hours of research, writing and formatting from the people who also serve clients.

Upwork is a volume game

Hundreds of new jobs a week, most of them a poor fit. Reading them all by hand was not possible; picking at random wasted bids.

Tasks lived in meetings and chats

Action items were agreed in calls and Slack threads, then had to be typed into ClickUp by hand, or were lost.

Solutions

What we did

Inbound sales agent

Every website enquiry is captured in a ClickUp sales pipeline, passed through a rule-based spam gate and announced in Slack. Each morning agents research the company from its own website, score the fit (the model scores, code adds up), and draft replies and follow-ups as Gmail drafts. A person reads and sends every message.

Content agent

One agent collects industry news daily. Each week another writes an article from a brief, and a separate checker matches every quote and figure to its source, sending failures back for a fix. The draft reaches Slack as an approval card; only after a yes is it published to the site and turned into LinkedIn, Facebook and X posts.

Upwork bid desk

Twice a day an agent searches Upwork, drops jobs that fail hard rules, scores the rest for fit and posts the best to ClickUp and Slack. Cover letters are written at a bid desk with a specialist and checked against a format gate. The agents never submit a bid.

PM agent on ClickUp

Mention the agent in Slack and it turns a request into a ClickUp action: create tasks, comment, set dates, status or owner. It shows a confirm card before every write, asks when a name is ambiguous instead of guessing, and can only write inside its own ClickUp space. Meeting transcripts become a list of proposed tasks that a person approves before anything is created.

Built not to fail silently

Every workflow reports failures to Slack through one shared alerter. Agent rules live in versioned files compiled into the prompts, and a build check fails if they drift. Changes ship on a weekly release, each proven by a real run.

// what the agents did

Capture and score leads, draft replies, research and write articles, check sources, scout and score Upwork jobs, and turn requests and meetings into proposed ClickUp tasks.

// what people decided

Andrii sends every message, approves every article and post, says yes or no to every bid, and confirms every ClickUp change. Nothing on LinkedIn is automated.

Results

What changed

  • Speed. A website enquiry is in ClickUp and Slack within minutes, scored with a reply drafted by 9:00 the next morning. New Upwork jobs are read and scored twice a day, within hours of posting. A request in Slack becomes a ClickUp task in one message
  • More work, same team. 15 blog articles from 7 July to 6 October 2026, one a week, each turned into LinkedIn, Facebook and X posts. 278 Upwork jobs scored in the scout's first three weeks, a volume nobody could read by hand. First agent-assisted bids went out on 29 August; first client reply came on 13 September
  • Hours back for decisions. Research, first drafts, source checks, job screening and task entry are done by agents. Specialists spend their time reading, approving and sending, not preparing
  • Nothing goes out unchecked. Every message, post, bid and ClickUp change was approved by a person first

How we run it today. The same agents run every day. When we build agents for a client, we use the stack, the rules and the approval gates we run on ourselves.
